Why the prices vary so much
A ₹1,200 listing and a ₹3,600 listing can look like the same product. The gap usually comes down to four things.
- Count per box. Pharmacy listings are often two capsules, so a ₹3,078 box is around ₹1,540 each. Some listings are 60-capsule bottles of an entirely different product — read the quantity carefully.
- Marketplace commission. Selling through a large marketplace adds 15–30% that lands in the shelf price.
- Branded versus generic. Established brands cost more. The formulations are broadly similar.
- COD handling. Some sellers add ₹50–₹100 for cash on delivery. We do not.
The same product under four names
Prices look inconsistent partly because the category has no settled name. A virginity capsule, a virginity blood capsule, an artificial hymen capsule and a hymen blood capsule are, in practice, the same thing — a single-use cosmetic capsule. Sellers pick whichever name they think converts, and the price for an identical product can differ by three times across those four listings. Searching all four is worth the two minutes.
Watch the quantity, not just the price
This is the most common way people overpay. Searches for these capsules return at least two different product types: single-use cosmetic capsules like this one, and multi-capsule "tightening" or herbal supplement bottles, which do something else entirely. A ₹4,780 listing for "2 × 60 capsules" is not a cheaper or dearer version of the same thing — it is a different product. Check how many single-use capsules you are getting.
Is the cheapest worth buying?
Below about ₹1,000 a capsule, be careful. The things that cost money to do properly are the shell quality, the colouring, and discreet packaging and delivery. The very cheapest listings, usually from bulk trading sites, often cut the third — which for most buyers is the part that matters most.
Cash on delivery and prepaid
Cash on delivery is available everywhere we deliver, with no added fee, and you pay the courier on arrival. If you would rather pay online, 5% comes off. Prepaid is also the better choice if you want the order to move quickly, since COD orders are confirmed by phone first.
One practical note: cash on delivery leaves no card or bank record at all. If a statement entry is a concern, COD is the cleaner option.
